Creampuff is the play Kyle Jespersen is writing, based on his experience working in Vancouver's vibrant yet distressed Downtown Eastside for more than a decade. An award-winning actor, Kyle has worked along a continuum of health and social services, from shelters and supportive housing to harm reduction clinics and detox withdrawal management. Through our Artistic Midwifery Program, we have been working with Kyle to develop Creampuff, planning for a full production in 2026/27.

What’s Next?

This spring, we will workshop the script and then invite an audience in for a first look. We often say that the audience is the final cast member – we don’t know what we’ve created until you see it. We are inviting members of Dark Glass Theatre to be the first to witness this play in progress and to give us their thoughts afterwards.
